Fleece Blanket

I made fleece blankets for each of my kids years ago, and a little while back the little girl next door found one and was quite jealous of it. I figured I'd make one for her for Christmas... and I'm finally finishing it now. Christmas got a little crazy.

These little blankets are really easy and a great way to kind of mindlessly pass the time while still keeping your hands busy.

Materials:
  • Length of fleece
  • Yarn
  • Needle
Cut your fleece to the size you want for your blanket:
 

And a little step that I think makes the blankets look adorable, round the corners. I actually place a dinner plate at the corner and just cut around it.
 
Then simply sew around the edges of the fleece by hand with a blanket stitch. For a step by step on the blanket stitch, this is the best one I've found.
